1st Semester Recap: Introduction to Computer Simulation and Gaming (CSG110)
Well, where do i start. We sure did learn a lot in this class. It was one interesting journey for our team, Blackwood Studios. Our Team came together generated a Buisness Model Canvas for our game idea “Polar Darkness”. We learned how to use Agile Development in our process of pitching a game idea by using things like User Stories, poker planning, and customer interaction techniques. We had to make surveys for people to take, research the game industry for statistics, as well as use the BMC to generate a formula that tells us if we have a product worth bringing to market before we attempt to actually do so. This class was a great introduction class for the buisness side of gaming. It deffinetly opened my eyes to the world of the gaming industry. Which is just a hudge confirmation that this is what i want to do with my life. Looking forward to next semester and working with the other student teams!
